The Blotter.* A roundup of happenings in Gotham’s mean streets (and from time to time the tri-state region). Each item provides a staticky glimpse into the sleepless city’s peripheral misdemeanors, felonies, and misadventures.

⬛ MANHATTAN
▀ SoHo: Bruiser Beefs, Then Levels 74 Y.O. Man
AN AGGRAVATED YOUNG brute landed a devastating pop at a 74-year-old stranger.
The 20-year-old and senior were tangoing on Sullivan Street near Prince Street back on the evening of Jan. 1.
Their fighting words escalated to blows. Or at least one blow.
The junior welterweight allegedly had enough with the chatter and then slugged the elder’s mug, cutting his right eye and fattening his lip.
He then shoved the old man into a fence and scattered.
Responding cops wrangled the slugger and he was charged with assault (victim 65 or older).
It’s unclear what provoked the fisticuffs.

⬛ THE BRONX
▀ Fordham: Perps Punk Boy At Park For His $850 Jacket
A KID WAS stripped of his coat in the cold.
Two hostiles shook down a 15-year-old who was walking inside St. James Park on Jerome Avenue back on Jan. 28.
They approached him and among the various choice threats they made, demanded he shed his $850 jacket.
He complied and handed it to him before running off on Morris Avenue.
The suspects, one with a dark complexion dressed in a blue and black jacket, gray hoodie, beige camo pants, and gray sneakers, and the other lighter complexion in a black mask, black jeans, black jacket, and white sneakers.
Only one was lassoed and the other was still being sought.

⬛ BROOKLYN
▀ Flatbush: ‘Take One More Step And I’ll Boom You!’: Greedy Trio Cast Mortal Threats To Gank Man’s Phone

A TRIO TOOK a man for his cell phone — and then fenced it at a digital kiosk.
The perps menaced a man back at around 5 p.m. on Nov. 20 as they jacked him at the Parade Grounds of Prospect Park.
Two of them (one is as young as 14) first picked up his jacket that had been set on the ground and swiped his phone, the criminal complaint reads.
Seeing the moves — the victim allegedly attempted to recover his raided property and was advised against.
One of the culprits seethed, “Take one more step and I’ll boom you!”
Not less than an hour and a half did the thieves attempt to ditch the gizmo to turn a quick buck.
They allegedly did so selling the device at an ecoATM, a kiosk that offers customers instant monies for their cell phones.
For the phone they took, they collected $1,300, the papers say.
Footage of them selling the phone helped investigators net the bandits.
On Jan. 12, one of the perps, 18, was brought in to be questioned.
Pressed about seeing him with two others vending the phone, the accused acknowledged, "That's me in the pictures.”
As for selling the stolen phone with his enterprising pals were — he was much less specific.
“I don't know anything about a phone and I don't know who those other guys are."
The crook was nailed for robbery, grand larceny, crime possession, menacing, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment.

⬛ QUEENS
▀ Far Rockaway: Toughs Steal Man’s Scooter, Then Draw Pistol And Ask, ‘Do You Want To Die?’

HE FORFEITED HIS wheels to the two armed bandits who threatened his life.
At 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 14, a man was standing outside Gino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant located on Beach 20th Street off Cornaga Avenue.
The pair approached the innocent asking to check out the man’s motorized scooter.
At first playing along, he let them check it out.
When the owner requested to take it back one of them swing it at him and decried, “You are not getting this back.”
Making an even more determined effort to wrench his property and means of transport away from the thieves he saw one of the perps draw a black pistol from his waistband and aimed it at him before asking, “Do you want to die?”
The victim fled to the 101 Precinct station house where he informed them of the robbery at gunpoint.
He informed the officers there that the thieves fled with the scooter on an MTA bus.
Cops mobilized and caught up to the bus. As the perps exited they saw the police and fled in different directions.
The one suspect, 20, who was without the scooter but was carrying the piece was busted.
His accomplice wheeled away in the scooter.
The one captured crook faces criminal possession of a loaded firearm and robbery, grand larceny, and criminal possession of an ammo clip.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND
▀ Arlington: Goon Sexually Violates Woman Twice Inside Strip Mall Biz

HE GROPED THEN digitally penetrated a woman two times in the same month.
The 50-year-old allegedly targeted the woman while she was inside a business located on Forest Avenue near Wemple Street back at around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 2.
First, he squeezed her nipples and then grabbed her buttocks, according to the criminal complaint.
Weeks later, on the evening of Nov. 27, the same perp allegedly came from behind the woman as she was standing on a ladder.
Authorities say he ripped down her pants and stuck his finger into the woman’s anus.
The violated woman called the cops and they took the sicko away and slapped him with sexual abuse, forcible touching, sexual abuse, and harassment.
