⬛ MANHATTAN

▀ Midtown: ‘You Have My Phone!’: Goon On Subway Pummels Straphanger For Phone

THE SILVER-TONGUED MC Eiht once said it best: “I gots to get mine, so I'm a take yours.”

And for one 30-year-old desperado — he saw a man on a train with a a phone and decided it was his.

The perp allegedly hopped on the F train heading to Manhattan sometime around 4:30 p.m.

A 25-year-old straphanger was holding his phone when the suspect approached him and demanded it.

“Give me my phone,” he allegedly told the man. “You have my cell phone.”

The shakedown was initially dismissed with the two arguing back-and-forth about the gizmo.

As the train rumbled into the West 4th Street station — the phone owner exited to step aboard an uptown E train.

But the cell phone shitstarter followed him.

The victim got off on the 53rd Street/Lexington Avenue station. And when he did the suspect allegedly engaged him again, demanding he hand over the device.

He slugged the man and yanked the mobile from his clutches.

By this point, cops were engaged and pulled off the cell phone fleecer.

Asked why the perp targeted him, the victim explained that the phone was his and that the the mugger was a complete stranger.

The attacker was brought up on robbery, assault, and harassment.

⬛ THE BRONX

▀ Parkchester: Gizmo Wholesaler Caught Selling Six-Figure Sums Worth Of Wares On Side

THE CROOK WAS skimming from within.

Until the heat caught on.

A 46-year-old perp and her cohorn were daylighting as suits for the IC Wholesale Inc. and then marauding as inside guys and gals — fencing stolen wares.

Their shenanigans believed to have begun on Jan. 2, 2025 was up nearly two years later on the night of July 24.

That’s when the authorities swooped in on the biz where the suspects were working and exposed them for side-hustling the inventory of brand spanking new iPhones, Samsung cell phones, iPads, AirPods, and other goods for personal gain.

They determined the suspects were selling them outside the warehouse grounds and doctoring the company’s inventory logs to mask the grift.

In sum, authorities estimate the suspects lined their pockets to the tune of $166,210.

On Aug. 12, cuffs and charges were formalized for grand larceny 2 (more than $50k), grand larceny 2 (retail goods scheme), criminal possession of stolen property (more than $50k), and falsifying business records.

⬛ BROOKLYN

▀ East Williamsburg: Fare Beater Supreme

AT ONE SUBWAY Brooklyn subway station the fares were free.

A 53-year-old suspect decided to let several people enter the city subway system without paying.

Minutes before 3 p.m. on Sept. 29, the cops were called to the subway station location Wyckoff Avenue and Jefferson Street.

There, the accused had pried open a service gate and allowed several cheapskates to skip the swipe (or scan nowadays!) and be let in.

It was referred detailed in the complaint as “assisting in evasion of fare.”

The underhanded effort was chalked up to theft of computer service and also trespass.

⬛ QUEENS

▀ Flushing Meadows: Hit-And-Run Driver Vowed He Wanted To ‘Tell My Side Of The Story’

IF ONLY HE could explain what happened.

A motorist accused of mowing down a man walking in a parking lot outside the Chase Center appeared to justify the incident.

On the morning of Oct. 4, the 33-year-old was reportedly driving a Toyota in the lot on Meridian Road (just outside the tennis center).

The bearded suspect with the cropped hairdo, is described in the complaint as wearing a black jersey.

He had somehow gained entry onto the lot without a pass.

And he steered his car toward a man walking around the premises and slammed into him.

The driver then took off leaving his human roadkill suffering from chest and knee wounds.

But the maniac’s plate was captured and run down by investigators.

When they showed up at his doorstep, the suspect was pressed about his potential involvement in the car versus human crash.

And at that time there was much he wanted to impart.

He allegedly answered, “I will come in to tell my Side of the story.”

It’s unclear if he ever did.

But one thing is clear: authorities moved to charge the chatty chump with assault and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting/personal injury.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND

▀ Clifton: Crook Caught Packing A Ghost Cell Phone-Shaped Gun

THE PHONE COULD kill.

A 34-year-old man was trying to evade a detective who was pursuing him outside Osgood Avenue and Gordon Street late afternoon on Sept. 3.

Whatever he was up to (surely studying to be a professor of divinity) was interrupted by law enforcement and decided to show off his sprinting skills.

The detective caught up to him and his backpack was searched.

And aside from all his higher education materials — there was a cell phone device.

It was determined it was a double barrel pistol disguised as a cell phone with 49 bullets.

He tried to fend off the bust by tucking his hands under his stomach to avoid getting handcuffed.

The suspect was formally hit with weapons possession, ammunition possession, and obstruction of government administration, and harassment.

⬛ HARD TIMES

▀ Scratch-Off Stickup Artist Passes Away In Prison (Auburn, NY)

Luck has run out for a convicted felon serving time for a string of armed gas station holdups.

Londorr Ward died on Oct. 2 at Auburn Maximum Security Prison.

He was 42.

His death comes just two-and-a-half years into a 46 year prison bit for multiple gunpoint robberies.

The cause of death was not disclosed by the NYC Department of Corrections.

Ward, of Buffalo was sentenced on April 18, 2024 to to the nearly half-century hard time plus five years post release supervision after falling for the spree at various marts in Cheektowaga and Amherst beginning back on February 22, 2021.

Ward hit four gas stations and in each case demanded cash, emptying the register and taking scratch off instant lottery tickets.

When cops finally caught up with him on March 8, 2021, the day after his last robbery, he was in possession of stolen scratch-off instant lottery tickets.

His scores ended on March 8 when cops stopped him fleeing from a robbery on Grover Cleveland Highay and found to be holding stolen lottery tickets.

It took a jury an hour back in January, 2024, to reach a guilty verdict on four counts of first degree robbery and possession of stolen property.

Ward also faced separate assault charges for beating his attorney during a pre-trial meeting in the Erie County Correctional Facility in Walden, NY.

Ward is the seventh state prison inmate to die in custody this month, public records indicate.
