⬛ MANHATTAN

Midtown: Nutjob Busted Scrawling 32 Swastikas Onto Times Square Skyscraper

IF HE WANTED to make a statement, he accomplished that in spades.

An attention whore was nabbed marking up the facade of a towering skyscraper on Broadway and Seventh Avenue.

It was Dec. 15 of last year when he targeted the 44-story 1540 Broadway building which boasts the Disney Store, Forever 21 as tenants along with Schrödinger which builds chemical simulation software for use in pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

The man was captured on CCTV using a marker to make the hateful swastikas.

It’s unclear what prompted him to vandalize the building.

He allegedly was already being sought for another swastika incident from September.

But he was able to remain untouched until Tuesday, when investigators captured him and charged him for the taggings and open warrants for being a no-show in court.

He now faces aggravated harassment (swastika on property) and 10 counts of making graffiti.

⬛ THE BRONX

Morrisania: Hardhat Caught In Crack Slinging Side Gig

A CONSTRUCTION WORKER and his pal were netted in a sting trying to ply several vials of crack.

The 46-year-old and his poison-pushing cohort, 39, were busted on Aug. 21 selling $10 worth of rocks to an undercover cop.

Money was given to the partner and the suspect gave his pal the vial.

That led to their arrest.

Both men were found to be carrying seven vials of the stuff and a .380 caliber pistol in the suspect’s waistband.

Once in custody, cops discovered a 10-year-old warrant for failure to appear in an unrelated case.

In court, the suspect’s public defender pleaded for the man’s release arguing that the man provides for six kids and lives with his mom and helps share the load of paying bills and holds a day job in construction.

The prosecutor countered that the suspect should be held in lieu of $30,000 bail. But the judge instead set a much lower $5,000 bail.

The suspect was remanded back to Rikers pending a future hearing.

⬛ BROOKLYN

Bushwick: Sicko Brazenly Snared Sending Dick Pics From Police Precinct To Grossed Out Recipients

BY ALL ACCOUNTS the swiftest way to find yourself on the wrong side of the law is to break it while you’re already in the solar plexus of the law.

A 31-year-old zero was apparently at the 81st Precinct (located on Ralph Avenue) back on Aug. 12, the criminal complaint reads.

It was there that the suspect, the papers detail, beamed out XXX pics.

They featured his penis being “touching” a woman’s mouth.

And he send them to “multiple phone numbers”.

Cops were alerted to the lewd sexts and brought him up on charges.

He was hit with unlawful publication of an intimate image and harassment.

⬛ QUEENS

Far Rockaway: Dope Deals 23 Bags Of Mary Jane In Front Of Cop

WHEN YOU’RE GONNA try vending bushels of buds on the street maybe it best to schedule the meet at night and not in the direct purview of an NYPD officer.

But one 58-year-old doobage maverick decided he would test fate when he brought several bags of sticky green to a buyer back at around 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Mott Avenue and Beach 22nd Street.

And there was a cop gawking as they tendered the ganja goods for greenbacks.

The cop moved in and took the dealer into custody and confiscated all 23 bags of the dank stuff.

He was taken down for unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful sale of cannabis.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND

New Springville: Audi Asshole Caught After Hit-And-Run

HE KEPT DRIVING despite inflicting twice fracturing the skull of a person crossing the street.

The 22-year-old lowlife behind the wheel of a gray Audi S5 midday on Aug. 17.

Authorities say the suspect plowed into a person at the intersection of Platinum Avenue and Ring Road.

The impact of the collision sent the pedestrian tossed into the air and bouncing off the hood before falling to the asphalt.

Medics tended to the wounded soul and after being tended to at a local hospital the victim suffered a host of injuries including a brain bleed, two skull fractures, hearing loss to his right ear, paralysis to his right face, a fractured jaw, a broken left hand, and bleeding all over the face and bruising about the body.

The driver was picked up on Sept. 2.

Formal charges included leaving the scene of an accident, assault with a weapon causing serious injury, assault thru risk of death, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use.

*When perusing The Blotter, know that arrests do not constitute guilt, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty. Moreover, the reported items are merely a snapshot of a criminal matter – what is known at the time of publishing. In most cases, the persons arrested for breaking the law haven’t been convicted (yet). It’s also possible that the charges brought against them may be reduced or even withdrawn.
