⬛ MANHATTAN

Kips Bay: Unhinged Hood Threatens To ‘Shoot You All’ At NYU Dentistry

MUST HAVE BEEN one mother of a toothache.

A maniac went postal inside NYU College of Dentristry.

The 32-year-old entered the campus building on 24th Street off 1st Avenue back on April 3.

When he approached the front desk, the suspect informed a staffer that he had an appointment.

But when that didn’t sway them to gain access to a white coat — he started verbally jousting.

At one point he erupted and told the workers there, “You all better stop playing with me.”

He continued, “I will shoot you all. I’m not here to play.”

The madman then left in a huff.

Cops tracked him down nearly a month later and on May 6 he was cuffed and booked on making a threat of mass harm.

The Brooklyn man with a bone to pick with the the oral care industry

appeared back in Manhattan court back on May 21 and was hit with a temporary order of protection.

THEY’RE PRESSING PAWS on crime.

The NYC Department of Citywide Administration this week inked $1 million deal to onboard explosive detection K9s and certified handlers to patrol the city’s buildings housing its agencies throughout the five boroughs.

Michael Stapleton Associates, a Lower Manhattan-based security company awarded a $941,196 contract to provide the specialty counter-terror measure for the city.

The added pooches are to be part of the NYPD’s counter-terror work throughout Gotham and its underground transportation arteries.

DCAS, which operates it's own independent police force, is responsible for security at 55 city owned properties including courthouses, office buildings and city-owned warehouses.

The largest property is the David N. Dinkins Municipal building at 1 Centre Street, across from City Hall in Manhattan, which houses a myriad of city agencies within nearly one million square feet of office space.
