⬛ MANHATTAN
▀ Midtown: Maverick Motorist Tearing Through Times Square Caught With Glock
A COUPLE THRILL seekers all too eager to put their names on the pantheon of Gotham stunts (somebody already planted a flag atop the Brooklyn Bridge, afterall!) — was caught after putting on a display of donuts.
The 19-year-old driver of a Dodge Charger, and his passenger pals (ages 19 and 20) were riding along the heart of “Crossroads of the World” (West 45th Street and Seventh Avenue) on the early evening of April 26.
The suspects then started doing donuts around the heavily trafficked tourist spot.
The shenanigans stirred enough of a scene to draw the fuzz.
And so the attention whores were greeted by the police.
While they were waiting for the ink to dry on the infraction — cops searched the muscle car and who would have figured that a Glock pistol was inside the ride replete with two high capacity magazines.
The three people were nabbed and their car impounded.

⬛ THE BRONX
▀ Rikers Island: Accused Killer Prisoner Pinched With Shiv
HE ADDED SOME seedy garnish to his murder main course.
A 21-year-old suspect in a murder rap dating back to 2023 was serving time at Rikers ahead of his trial when he was nabbed for having a weapon on him.
THe perp was one of three suspects who in September 2023 robbed a person at gunpoint in Manhattan and also killed a person in the Bronx. What’s more, prosecutors suspect the accused was part of a five-deep crew tagged to four separate shootings, racking up 40 shots and tallying eights victims (not to mention using several different guns).
The suspect was already up against murder, conspiracy, weapon possession, attempted robbery, and assault.
And for the Rikers contraband — he was charged with possession of dangerous prison contraband and criminal possession of a weapon (with intent to use).

⬛ BROOKLYN
▀ East New York: Man Walks Into Police Precinct Wearing Body Armor And Packing Extra Heat
HERE’S THE ONE about the guy who walks into a police precinct ready for war… and instead he’s soon ushered away (unarmed) in cuffs.
A 45-year-old Rambo allegedly was indiscrete when he entered the 75th Precinct station on Sutter Avenue during lunchtime on April 6.
The suspect was clad in a bulletproof vest and found to be packing two loaded pistols — with extra ammo.
The perp made the blunder of showing all his cards on the table. And the hand was a all bust.
Cops first eyed the suspect’s bulletproof attire. And then once they searched him they found he was in the possession of a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition, with one in the chamber.
They also found he was holding a Ruger 9mm pistol — also with 10 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber.
The numskull was busted for criminal weapons possession in a sensitive location, ammunition possession, and unlawful wearing of body armor.

⬛ QUEENS
▀ Queens Village: Mississippi Motorist With Two Unfastened Tots Turns Traffic Stop Into Delirious Chase
SHE WON’T WIN mother of the year.
A 26-year-old stopped behind the wheel of a Hyundai with bogus plates and two young kids in the backseat — stole away from a cop’s stop.
The woman initially pulled over at the intersection of I-295 and Cross Island Parkway back at around midday on April 6.
“[I] am with my kids,” she allegedly told the officer.
The officer determined that the car bearing make-believe Magnolia State license plates was soon walking back to his cruiser.
The mother allegedly determined that the coast was clear; clear enough to make a dash for it.
So with to kids onboard (one 8-years-old, and the other a 1-year-old), the woman allegedly peeled away and so began the hot pursuit.
How she thought she’d be able to outpace a 400 horsepower Ford Police Interceptor was anybody’s idea.
The put-put Hyundai wasn’t exactly the pace car.
But she blew “numerous red light” along with honking at other cars and swerving into oncoming traffic to shake the red and blue flashing tail.
She was finally reeled in and tasked with reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful fleeing a police officer, and obstructing governmental administration.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND
▀ Midland Beach: Belligerent Demanding Entry Bawled ‘I’m Going To Tear Out Your Intestines’
HE REALLY WANTED in. Bad.
A vulgar loudmouth demanded entry into a home. But he wouldn’t wait and instead forced his way in.
At the strike of 7 p.m. on Feb. 7, the 31-year-old deviant chose a home on Rudyard Street to express his desire to be invited in.
He hammered on the front door.
And when he was denied — he lobbed threats.
He shrieked, “I’m going to tear out your intestines if you don’t let me in.”
His attempt at candor didn’t convince the occupant to open the door.
That compelled the punk to break the door frame.
In fact, he struck it so hard that it was unable to close.
The suspect was taken into custody on Feb. 26 and formally charged with burglary (of a dwelling), criminal trespass, menacing, harassment, and criminal mischief (damage property).

▀ 87 Y.O. Paroled Killer Convicted In Gruesome Slaying And Dismemberment Of Woman (Brooklyn, NY)
Sean O'Dubhghaill, Special to The Blotter
A CONVICTED WIFE killer who had been granted paroled — committed more savagery.
And he’s going back behind bars. Likely for the rest of his years.
Harvey Marcelin, 87, was found guilty of first degree murder on May 7.
A jury found that the senior ex-con slain a female acquaintance.
There wasn’t a smoking gun. But a severed head was found inside his Brooklyn apartment.
It took a jury just one hour to hand down the verdict.
Prosecutors proved Marcelin killed and dismembered Susan Layden, 68, inside his East New York apartment on Feb 27, 2022.
They became acquainted with each other while living in the same Bronx shelter in 2019.
Investigators believe they reunited again at a Manhattan LGBT senior center.
But when she visited his Pennsylvania Avenue — she never left, police said.
Layden, who lived a few miles away at LGBT supportive housing, the Stonewall House at 112 St. Edwards St, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, had been reported missing.
The victim’s remains were collected in almost scavenger like fashion.
On March 3, the torso of an unidentified female was found dumped in a trash bag, stuffed inside an abandoned shopping cart in East New York; not far from Marcelin's apartment.
On March 7, a severed leg was found in a trash can three blocks from Marcelin's.
Cops kept a close eye on Marcelin, retrieving surveillance camera on Marcelin's building which showed him leaving the building on March 2, with a shopping cart loaded with a black trash bag.
He was collared on March 4 and and investigators were able to enter his apartment.
There, they found Layden's head as well as other severed limbs.
There was also blood, cleaning supplies — and the suspected murder weapon: a hammer. (The Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death blunt force trauma to the head, believed to be a blow from a hammer strike.)
They also found electric saw box.
Investigators later pieced together that Marcelin had purchased the saw at Home Depot after snuffing Layden’s life.
They deduced that he used it to dismember her body inside the apartment.
The motive for the killing remains unclear.
Marcelin past is riddled with violence and he’s spent most of his life in prison.
He was first arrested back in October, 1963, in Manhattan and convicted of murder for shooting dead his wife.
He was paroled from prison in 1984.
A year later, he was back in cuffs and sent away for manslaughter in a woman’s stabbing death.
Two years later Marcelin was sentenced to six to 12 years.
The murderer then caught a break in August 2019. That’s when the parole board saw fit to release him back into society.
Marcelin, who was also found guilty of tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse — faces life in prison when he’s sentenced in Brooklyn Supreme Court come June 10, 2026.
