The Blotter.* A roundup of happenings in Gotham’s mean streets (and from time to time the tri-state region). Each item provides a staticky glimpse into the sleepless city’s peripheral misdemeanors, felonies, and misadventures.

⬛ MANHATTAN
▀ Fort George: Man Stabbed Boyfriend While He Was Sleeping
A MAN WAS stabbed in his sleep by his enraged younger boyfriend.
Minutes before 7 a.m. on Nov. 15, inside of an apartment on Sickles Street the 25-year-old from the Bronx allegedly grabbed hold of a blade and knifed his 53-year-old lover in his bed.
The groggy victim with a bloody right arm charged his attacker; who used the knife again. This time to puncture his boyfriend’s chest.
That blow damged his victim.
To save his life he bolted from the apartment. But he did so with his bladerunning beau on his heels.
The suffering man found help and an Upper Manhattan hospital bed at the ER to recover from the stabbings.
Meantime, the suspect was captured and charged with attempted murder, assault (with a weapon), and weapons possession.
It’s unclear what provoked the suspect’s attempt on his lover’s life.

⬛ THE BRONX
▀ Highbridge: Squabbling Neighbor Ducks Into Empty Flat After Firing 2 Clumsy Shots
HIS NICKNAME MAY be “Speedy” but his aim is shoddy.
A 43-year-old was locking horns with a 28-year-old woman just past 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 inside a newly constructed residential building on River Avenue near McCellan Street.
Their boiling exchange compelled the man to go for his iron and he allegedly squeezed off two shots — missing the woman.
Afterward, the suspect bolted to duck cops.
He barricaded himself in a neighboring apartment that was empty. But another neighbor informed searching officers of the shooter’s hiding spot and how he had changed his clothes.
The detail then approached that apartment and ordered the suspect to exit the apartment. He complied and surrendered.
Among the long list of charges lodged against the suspect include murder: intention, weapons possession, and assault. He is expected to be arraigned on Jan. 12, records show.

⬛ BROOKLYN
▀ Kensington: Scumbag Shoves 3 Y.O. Girl To Ground
A MOTHER WAS forced to comfort her young daughter after a menace pushed the tot to the ground.
At around 1 p.m. on Aug. 25, a 38-year-old goon was allegedly stomping around outside a Foodtown located on McDonald Avenue near Albermarle Road.
As the mother and her daughter were walking together — the suspect was captured on CCTV pushing the child to down to the ground and then darting away.
The little girl suffered a rasberry on her elbow, but fortunately skipped having to be admitted to a hospital.
Months passed until Nov. 23, when the perp was captured and charged with assault and reckless endangerment for heartless hit-and-run.

⬛ QUEENS
▀ East Elmhurst (La Guardia Airport): Belligerent Ruffian Bearhugs Cop To Ground On Thanksgiving Morning
A MAD MAN picked an odd time to finetune his war cry.
He was standing inside La Guardia Airport’s Terminal A when he bellowed like a jester amidst crusty-eyed, caffeine-depleted jetsetters for an audience.
And then he turned especially rowdy when a Port Authority cop escorted him off his makeshift stage.
It was around 3:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving when the 47-year-old was yawping up a storm when he was asked to pipe down.
He refused.
So many passengers embarking on Spirit Airlines flights made hay and tattled on the solo octave-spiking rabblerouser.
He was quickly ushered away and then allegedly mistook the cop for his personal ragdoll and tried to wriggle free when the handcuffs were in sight.
Authorities say aside from resisting the cop’s arresting efforts — the suspect even “hugged” the cop so hard that he caused him to fall to the floor. The officer suffered all sorts of bruising to his right fingers, left knee, right shoulder and right arm, the complaint states.
Once finally subdued, the suspect was formally charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND
▀ Westerleigh: ‘Westerleigh: Idling In Middle Of Street, Bar Boozing Gal Sings To Cop About Having ‘Half A Drink’ In Hyundai
HER CAR WAS stopped in the middle of Caswell Avenue (and Livermore Avenue) — but the driver was wandering around nearby.
That might have been the first clue for the cops that something was amiss. It was 3:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving when a 21-year-old woman got her engines in overdrive.
At first, the blized woman claimed that she gave her beau a lift.
“I drove to drop my boyfriend off at home,” she told concerned cops.
The lift came after she allegedly tipped a few too many at nearby Jimmy Max Pizza.
“I was drinking at Jimmy Max,” she told police officers while standing outside her running 2025 Hyundai Elantra according to the criminal complaint.
She noted that she had been switching off between “drinking Surfsides [hard ice teas] and spritzers.”
Then the woman admitted to hopping into her car and popped open another libation.
“In the last hour before I was stopped I had half a drink,” she claimed. The woman blew a .200 Breathalyzer — more than double New York state’s legal threshold. She was dinged with aggravated DWI and DWI.
