⬛ MANHATTAN
▀ Diabolical Son Cashed $128K Of Deceased Mom’s Pension Checks
A ROTTEN SON profited off his dead mom by pocketing her retirement — even impersonating her voice.
Yakik Rumley, 51, was nabbed on Sept. 23, and facing grand larceny, ID theft, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and falsifying business records.
The 51-year-old was caught milking his mom’s city retirement pension checks over a two-year period while masking the fact that his mother, a retired city employee had already passed away.
The sucker apparently was so greedy that he went to depositing 20 checks between 2023 and 2025 forging her signature and even impersonating the dead woman’s voice 15 (count them!) times to the retirement system call center.
His greed bender came undone last year when he requested a re-issue of a lost check.
That flagged check drew scrutiny from the Department of Investigations, who uncovered the fraud and referred the case for criminal prosecution to the Manhattan DA's Office.

⬛ THE BRONX
▀ Morrisania: Dealer Caught Slinging Crack In Sting
HE’S NO GEOLOGIST.
But he was dealing in rocks.
Lots of them.
Cops were watching as the 46-year-old was tendered a deal for three capsules of crack in return for cash in front of Washington Avenue back during the afternoon on Aug. 21.
Cops moved in and took the hustler into custody and searched him and found he was packing in his right pants pocket a Ruger LCP .380 caliber pistol.
What’s more, cops found the perp had on his waist band 71 more vials of crack.
He was brought up on drug sales, drug possession, weapons possession, and ammunition possession.

⬛ BROOKLYN
▀ Bushwick: Goon Caught Sending Secret Sex Clip To Lover
SHE SLEPT WITH him. But she didn’t know the sex was being recorded.
A 22-year-old prick allegedly had sex with a woman back on Feb. 20 inside his Madison Street apartment.
The entire affair was being captured on a camera that the suspect planted, the criminal complaint details.
Two days after their fling — the suspect stands accused of sending the woman a video of the two of them.
The woman recognized herself (specifically her derriere) from the footage.
Cops moved in on the peeping perv on Sept. 3.
He faces unlawful surveillance (for amusement or profit/for sexual arousal), unlawful publication of an intimate image, and unlawful surveillance (second degree).

⬛ QUEENS
▀ Jamaica: Crack Fiend Puffing In Subway, Eradicates Pipe Evidence
WHAT CRACK PIPE?
Maybe the hit was that good that he could quit the habit cold turkey.
It was around 3 a.m. on Aug. 28 when the 36-year-old man was hitting the pipe inside the subway station located on Sutphine Boulevard and Archer Avenue.
Cops spotted the man tripping balls en route to his personal Valhalla after ripping a crack hit.
When they asked the man to come down to Mother Earth, he quickly launched the glass pipe and it shattered on the ground.
The suspect was taken down for drug possession, smoke, carry an open flame or lighted match, cigar, cigarette, pipe or torch, occupy more than one seat; lie on the floor; block movement, and attempted tampering with physical evidence.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND
▀ Clifton: Crook Caught Packing A Ghost Cell Phone-Shaped Gun
THE PHONE WAS fatal.
A 34-year-old man was trying to evade a detective who was pursuing him outside Osgood Avenue and Gordon Street late afternoon on Sept. 3.
Whatever he was up to (surely studying to be a professor of divinity) was interrupted by law enforcement and decided to show off his sprinting skills.
The detective caught up to him and his backpack was searched.
And aside from all his higher education materials — there was a cell phone device.
It was determined it was a double barrel pistol disguised as a cell phone with 49 bullets.
He tried to fend off the bust by tucking his hands under his stomach to avoid getting handcuffed.
The suspect was formally hit with weapons possession, ammunition possession, and obstruction of government administration, and harassment.

⬛ WANTED V. NABBED
▀ Slumbering Straphanger Suckerpunched By Mugger (Bronx, NY)

A SNOOZING SUBWAY rider was belted by a cruel thief.
The 52-year-old had nodded off while traveling southbound on a 5 train back at around 3 p.m. on Sept. 28.
When the train entered the 138 Street–Grand Concourse subway station a hooded tough punched him in the head and took off with his backpack and cell phone before dashing off.
▀ Stickup Artist (Brooklyn, NY)

A SUSPECT FLASHED a gun and robbed a bodega for $2,500.
The suspect scored the sum after striking inside A&B Food Corp. located on 17th Avenue. He aimed the piece at the 37-year-old clerk and bolted with the register loot.
