⬛ MANHATTAN

Midtown: Wrong Way Driver Caught Dragging Cop Through Times Square

THE POOR DRIVER decided he wasn’t interested in answering questions about why he veered his BMW X3 into one-way traffic.

It was around 3 a.m. on Sept. 12 when the perp, 28, was riding the wrong way along 7th Avenue.

The cops made an approach as the suspect reached West 47th Street.

Rather than strain his brain cells to make sense of the clown car antics, the dipshit punched the gas and dragged the quizzing cop a good stretch of asphalt before he tumbled.

Fortunately, the officer didn’t suffer serious injuries.

The beamer punk appeared to have made his escape.

However, cops collared him at around 1:30 p.m. that same day.

He was slapped with assault.

⬛ THE BRONX

South Bronx: Crack Fiend Nabbed Riding Citibike On Sidewalk

A KAMIKAZE TWO-WHEELER was busted with crack remnants thanks to shirking the law by going off-roading.

The 45-year-old man who needed a Spanish interpreter during his arraignment stands accused of crack possession when he was forced to brake and explain himself for riding a Citibike on a Bronx sidewalk back on Aug. 21.

The officer ran his name into a database and it confirmed that the bike riding desperado was a fugitive with an open warrant.

The cop searched the man’s person and found two glass pipes in his pocket and some pebbles of crack.

That finding had the officer overlook the bike violation and hit the man with the possession rap.

Through the interpreter, the man attempted to plea for mercy and be sprung. But prosecutors rebutted that this wasn’t the man’s only prior blemish. That he not only had the open warrant but two prios for failure to appear.

The judge sided with the suspect and let the perp sing a rocking ditty outside of lockup.

⬛ BROOKLYN

Park Slope: Stolen Kitten ‘Jabal’ Home Safe

DAYS AFTER TWO feline fleecers pranced off with 3-month-old Jabal from the 8th Street Mini Market — he’s now back safe and sound.

The owner Imad Innab was willing to offer $500 to the return of his furry friend. The incident occurred on Sept. 10 according to CCTV footage.

78th Precinct: Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our detectives from the 78th precinct, Jabal was found and returned to its rightful owner of the 8th Street Mini Market in Park Slope. Their efforts are appreciated.

⬛ QUEENS

Far Rockaway: Metal Pole Basher Whacks Man With Chair, Smashes Phone, And Pockets $2

AN UNHINGED MOPE took a metal pole and swung it at a man several times inside a homeless shelter.

The 25-year-old was inside the Rockaway Terrace located on Rockaway Beach Boulevard back on the afternoon of Aug. 24.

The suspect allegedly swung a metal pole at a man, striking his hand and drawing blood.

Then he took a metal chair and launched it at the already wounded victim — causing him to suffer a blow to his chest.

When the man was down two bucks slipped out of his pockets along with his phone.

That prompted the sucker to take the metal pole and smash his cell phone.

And snatch the currency. He then fled.

But he didn’t get far. Authorities were able to find the bully and recover the $2.

The suspect was formally charged with robbery and criminal mischief (damage property).

⬛ STATEN ISLAND

Tompkinsville / Oakwood Heights: Tagger Rearrested For Shoplifting From Supermarket

A GRAFFITI TAGGER was busted defacing a train station and then days later back in trouble of swiping goods from a supermarket.

The 53-year-old was first pinched back at around 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 7 for spraying “NT. 116” on the walls of the Staten Island Railway Station at Victory Boulevard.

He was brought up on criminal mischief and possession of graffiti instruments.

Perhaps he wasn’t suited to stay on the outside.

Because on Aug. 21, the same suspect made hay inside a Stop & Shop on Hylan Boulevard.

Authorities say he tried to steal two bags of coffee and a tub of Tide detergent.

His cloak and dagger attempts were especially inept and he was caught and arraigned on criminal possession of stolen property.
