⬛ MANHATTAN

Upper East Side: Armed Thug Took Man For His Clothes And Kicks

HIS BUS RIDE ended with him losing his shopping bags and some the clothes on his back.

A 36-year-old man stepped off a bus as it reached its East 86th Street stop at around 4 p.m. on April 29.

As he was walking along Third Avenue the man sensed a stranger in a parked car belting at the top of his lungs all sorts of insults.

The wordsmith then exited the car and to show his brawn — out came the pistol.

He warned the insulted victim to stop.

But the man picked up his pace.

It didn’t matter.

Te perp caught up to him and while the gun was trained on him forced the victim to give up his valuables, shopping bags (including a Carhartt sweater, Nike shoes, New Balance shoes, and other property.)

The goon with the hot threads hopefully enjoyed some time on the town because by May 12, the cops had arrived and his fashion upgrade came to a halt.

He was taken down for robbery (with a firearm), menacing with a weapon, grand larceny, and petit larceny.

Sound familiar?

⬛ BROOKLYN

Canarsie: 2 Drivers Caught Burning Rubber In Street Takeover

A COUPLE HELLIONS were tearing up the roads amongst a gaggle of onlookers and revelers.

The pair, both 20, congregated for a street takeover at the intersection of Avenue J and East 83rd Street at around 2:45 a.m. on May 3.

The deviants allegedly dazzled the swelling crowd of gawkers.

One was behind the wheel of a black 2014 Infiniti Q50 with New Jersey plates and the other was revving a black 2015 Infinity Q250.

Cops say they were witnessed guiding their Infinitis through several red lights and crossing over double yellow lines as well speeding into oncoming cars.

At one point they raced and as they hit a hard right — a pedestrian barely survived impact, leaping out of the way their speeding cars.

The perps were captured and slowed down with reckless endangerment and reckless driving raps.

⬛ QUEENS

Sunnyside: ‘I Will Stop Pretending To Kidnap You Now!’: Psycho Straphanger Carries Away Woman In His Arms Then Sets Her Free

HE SAW HER and snatched her up like bubblegum.

A 23-year-old predator was riding the subway at rush hour and brazenly took a woman as his property.

The targeted woman was standing on a 7 train platform at 46 Street-Bliss station awaiting the arrival of a Manhattan-bound subway.

The lull inspired the perp to approach her.

And after some tittle-tattle the train rumbled into the station.

They both boarded.

But when the woman exited the next stop on 48th Street — the goon refused to let her leave solo.

So he allegedly followed her.

Then he grabbed hold of her hand and against her will picked her up off the ground and cradled into his arms.

He carried her back to the original 46th Street-Bliss Street Station.

There, he swiped his subway pass to pay for both he and his hostage to legitimately pass through the turnstiles.

Then he brought her up the stairs to the original platform where they first met.

He then set her down and opened his trap.

“Okay, I will stop pretending to kidnap you now,” he said.

The now freed subway traveler quickly attempted to shake her captor. And despite the rejection — he continued trailing behind her.

Fed up with the crazy stalking antics — she finally warned him as bluntly as she could, yelping: “I am going to scream for help and call the police!”

That was just enough aired grievence to change the perp’s mind and change course.

Cops were called anyway.

And on May 4, the suspect was captured and swimming in a shitpool of kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment.

⬛ STATEN ISLAND

Port Richmond: Sidewalk Riding Cyclist Had Warrant And Was Pocketing Crank

THE TWO-WHEELER FLOUTING the rules of the road by hopping the sidewalk and claiming it as his own — was a wanted dope fiend.

The suspect was tooling around on a bike at around 8:45 p.m. on May 5.

A police officer flashed a badge and attempted to curb the pedaler.

It worked.

Once stationary, the cop ran the biker’s identity and learned the suspect had an outstanding warrant.

That compelled the officer to move to collar him.

But the suspect put up a fight and elbowed the officer to the chest.

And when emptying the man’s pockets, the officer found (Whoops!) a small baggie of crystal meth.

The accused, who has a track record for drugs was nailed for resisting arrest, obstruction, and also ticketed for bicycle operation on sidewalk.

⬛ PRISON STORIES

▀ Another Inmate Dies In Upstate Prison Marking 6-Year High (Elmira, NY)

By Sean O'Dubhghaill, Special to The Blotter

ANOTHER INMATE WAS wheeled out of an New York institution in a bodybag.

Christopher D. Jackson was discovered dead at Elmira Prison back on May 28.

The 50-year-old convict was serving time for manslaughter.

The NYS Department of Corrections hasn’t disclosed the cause of death.

Jackson was serving time for manslaughter in the gory bludgeoning of his girlfriend, Mareasa Westcott.

The woman was just 47 when on January 18, 2021, her corpse was found inside a room at the Suffolk Hotel in Huntington Village, Suffolk County, NY.

Pinched-nosed hotel staffers reached out to the cops reporting a four odor wafting from a room. They found the body under a sheet along with a handwritten note "I'm so, so sorry, I panicked and I'm running."

Jackson surrendered one week later and confessed to ripping a piece of wood from the hotel bed frame and used it to strike Westcott twice in the head as she laid dying in the bed.

‘I'm so, so sorry, I panicked and I'm running.’

-Handwritten letter found under bedsheet next to the bludgeoned woman’s body.

The blows fractured her skull.

On March 4, 2022, Jackson struck a deal with prosecutors to avoid a drawn out trial and he pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter and was sentenced the following month to 23 years in prison.

His passing marks the 76th death in custody in State prison so far this year.

And it’s the third death of an inmate in custody in Elmira prison this month and the and the sixth inmate to die in Elmira this year. (Elmira Correctional facility is a four hour drive north of New York City in Chemung County, NY.)

The Correctional Association of NY Prison Transparency Dashboard, a Brooklyn-based advocacy group which tracks among other things deaths in state prison custody, there were 59 inmate deaths dating from January through May, 2025.

The group reports 2026 in custody deaths have reached a six year high.

The NYC Department of Corrections only began publicly disclosing deaths in custody on their website in last December as required by State law.

All deaths in custody are investigated by the NY State Department of Corrections and those labeled suspicious are probed by the NY State Police.
