Midtown: Gourmand Fleeced French Bistro Out Of Liquor And Mussel Power Lunch

HAVE WE REACHED a point where supposed patrons must fork over coin in advance to dine out — or be denied service?

Because the dine-and-dash grift keeps happening.

Take a 65-year-old lady who picked La Grande Boucherie to chow down back on the afternoon of July 29.

It’s the kind of place where the napkins are white and washable and the flatware at each place setting requires a brushup on Emily Post.

She sat down and ordered mussels in a white wine and light mustard broth with hand-cut fries and washed it down with a Bombay Sapphire gin.

The woman enjoyed her feast that ran up around $53.

And then the tab arrived and the diner claimed she was in the poorhouse.

Cops were called and the woman was taken into custody and hit with theft of services.

⬛ THE BRONX

Morrisania: Fare Draws Pistol On Cabbie For Ten Spot, Crows ‘Ima Shoot You!’

A HACK WAS held at gunpoint over a Hamilton.

The 41-year-old woman feigning a fare was ready to end a taxi driver’s life for a pittance.

‘You give me the $10!’

-Fare, 41, threatened cabbie’s life

It was around 1:30 a.m. on July 21 when the woman was sitting in the back of a cab when she drew a black pistol and made clear it was pay her or pay with your life.

“Ima shoot you,” she snarled. “You give me the $10.”

Fearing that the drivel of a threat might be the last thing he ever heard — he coughed up the $10. And the gunplaying goon split.

But apparently not fast enough to outpace the fuzz.

The perp was quickly lassoed and taken down for robbery (with a firearm), menacing (with a weapon), criminal possession of stolen property, and weapons possession.

Sound familiar?

⬛ BROOKLYN

Prospect Park: Psycho Kidnapped Woman From Beauty Salon Chair Grousing ‘You Are Coming With Me!’ And Then Driving Her 12 Hours Out Of Town

SHE COULDN’T EVADE his evil grip.

A knave made a cameo noon cameo on July 17.

He entered a beauty parlor where a woman he was apparently hounding — was seated in a chair and getting dolled up.

‘You think you can get away from me?’

-21-year-old fiend stalking woman getting pampered at a beauty parlor

As the woman was lying down on one of the chairs, the creep allegedly grabbed the woman’s neck and started squeezing.

As he was getting rough with her, he hissed, “You think you can get away from me?”

With his prey in his grip, the 21-year-old perp pulled out a knife and brandished at the woman.

“You are coming with me,” he presumptuously ordered.

The woman was then led to a car where the suspect then took the wheel and started driving.

‘You are coming with me.’

-Woman’s kidnapper stated before taking woman away for a 12-hour drive

And they would continue on this journey to nowhere for about 12 hours.

By this time, the suspect appeared to have gotten a kick in the conscience and dropped off the woman at a train station.

Authorities were reached and a manhunt was underway.

Three days later, the suspect was wearing bracelets and dinged with kidnap, coercion, assault, menacing with a weapon, and weapons possession (with intent to use).

Park Slope: ‘You Want To Fight!’: Philistine Rips Church Bibles And Tosses Candles While Taunting Staff With Fire Hydrant Top

A GODLESS SOUL was ready to go biblical on any comers.

On the morning of June 18, the suspect, 28, marched into the St. Francis Xavier Church located on 6th Avenue and Carroll Street.

If there were any parishioners praying or in a solemn state — they were rudely interrupted by the perp.

The maniac took bibles, ripped them up and then tossed them.

“What you going to do about it?”

-28-year-old church hooligan

The perp also destroyed crucifixes, crosses, and candles by throwing them to the ground.

And when a church staffer attempted to stop him — the suspect somehow gained hold of the top of a fire hydrant.

While seemingly ready to cast it, he snarled, “What you going to do about it?”

The suspect then started swinging it toward the challenger.

Before the cops arrived the aggressor vanished.

But investigators were able to track him down weeks later on July 21.

He was then formally nailed to the cross for burglary (hate crime), criminal mischief (hate crime), criminal trespass (hate crime), criminal mischief (damage property), and menacing (with a weapon).

⬛ QUEENS

Jamaica: Loon Launches Scooter At Man, Destroys Security Cam With Plywood

FOR TWO DAYS in a row, a fiend threatened the life of a man at his job.

The 22-year-old bulleted toward his target outside a strip mall on Merrick Boulevard late afternoon on July 20.

The suspect allegedly spit, “I will kill you,” before taking hold of a heavy metal scooter and launching it at him.

The launched scooter struck a display case. But it also severely wounded the man’s foot.

‘I’m going to kill you!’

-Scooter-tossing scumbag

The next day, the same perp reappeared raring to tango again.

He darted toward the same victim and blabbed, “I’m going to kill you.”

This time he was wielding a piece of plywood.

Rather than do harm to his intended, the suspect destroyed a security camera with several swings of timber.

‘I didn’t hurt anybody.’

-Caught punk claimed his eruption was harmless

Coppers took hold of the hostile and when he was quizzed about why he went nutso on the man — he didn’t deny the accusations.

However, he believed that his actions were innocuous.

“I didn't hurt anybody,” he allegedly told investigators.

The suspect was formally charged with assault, attempted assault, criminal mischief, and weapons possession.

Bayside / Flushing: FTC Pretender Shakes Down Mark For Thousands Threatening To Expose Bogus Child Porn Nexus

A CUNNING CON was caught blackmailing a man by fronting he was a fed and needed to be paid bundles of cash to prevent his ties to child porn.

The 61-year-old hustler put his hooks on a man on May 12.

It was then the he allegedly sent a missive urging the man to call a phone number because his account had been “linked to child pornography”, according to the criminal complaint.

When the man made the call, he spoke to the suspect who allegedly claimed to be from the FTC [Federal Trade Commission] and then explained how the man’s cell phone had been linked to a child pornography sites and that he would have to pay up to “remove the link,” the papers say.

Specifically, the man was told to wire $37,000 to a Well Fargo Bank account under a specific name and then withdraw $41,000 and place it in an “unmarked envelope” so that someone would meet to pick it up.

The next day, the white-haired Asian suspect, arrived at an agreed upon dead drop spot on a residential stretch along 46th Avenue and took hold of the enveloped cash.

On May 14, the same suspect allegedly went for a third round to rook this guy.

Again, he played the FTC suit and explained how if the man was hoping to get his cash back that he would have to withdraw $40,000 and place it in another unmarked envelope for pickup by another bagman.

Like clockwork, the money man appeared. However, it wasn’t the suspect but a Hispanic man who grabbed the cash.

The cops were informed of the money grabs and after poring over surveillance footage from the various cash drops and pickups — they were able to peg the elder suspect with his signature white hair.

He was brought under arrest on Aug. 4 and dinged for grand larceny (more than $50,000) and grand larceny (get property through extortion).

⬛ STATEN ISLAND

Woodrow: Caught Squatter Admits, ‘I Took The Shirt, Pants, Jacket, And Wine!’

A DRIFTER TOOK advantage of a homeowner’s absence to indulge a home.

It was late evening on July 27 when the 27-year-old suspect allegedly spotted the piled up mail with a woman’s name on it “inside” home at the end of a cul de sac on Sinclair Avenue.

The suspect admitted that while being “homeless” and in need of a “roof over my head” they decided to test the theory that nobody was home by first relaxing in the backyard.

The perp then noted that after a while, it was time to enter though couldn’t recall exactly when he did so.

“When I realized no one was home I used a small knife to pry the front door open,” he told cops later.

“I took the multitool from the house,” he added.

That led him to head for a nap.

“I slept in the house and woke up in there in the morning,” he admitted.

Once up the suspect got into thievery mode by raiding the homeowner’s closet.

He confessed, “I took the shirt, pants, jacket, and wine.”
